Howard Tibbals at play in the museum
Circus Museum
Established in 1948, the Ringling Museum of the American Circus is the first of its kind to document the history of the circus. In addition to collections of rare memorabilia and ornate parade wagons, see The Howard Bros. Circus model - the world's largest miniature circus created by master model builder and philanthropist Howard Tibbals.
Also inside the Circus Museum is the newly restored Wisconsin, John and Mable Ringling's private railroad car that carried them around the country for entertainment, business and leisure travel. The car includes an observation lounge, 3 staterooms, a dining room, crew's quarters and kitchen.
